LAS VEGAS — Scoot Henderson of the Portland Path Blazers and Amen Thompson of the Houston Rockets, each top-four picks within the NBA draft, left their Summer season League matchup early Friday with accidents.
Each of their coaches mentioned they didn’t know the severity of the gamers’ accidents. High gamers usually are shut down early in Summer season League as a precaution.
Henderson injured his proper shoulder and Thompson his left ankle within the Rockets’ 100-99 victory over Portland. Thompson mentioned his ankle was sore, however Henderson was not made obtainable to the media. He didn’t seem involved within the area afterward.

Henderson, the No. 3 choose within the draft out of the G League Ignite, didn’t have his shoulder in a brace or sling. He had 15 factors, six assists and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes, scoring 13 factors within the first quarter. He left within the third quarter.
Thompson, the No. 4 select of Extra time Elite, had 16 factors, 5 assists and 4 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Each groups subsequent play Sunday. The Blazers face the San Antonio Spurs and No. 1 choice Victor Wembanyama, and Houston performs the Detroit Pistons, who drafted Ausar Thompson, Amen’s twin brother, with the No. 5 choose.
