The superlative numbers just keep coming from Chevy’s super Corvette. The 2025 Corvette ZR1 was revealed as the most powerful production Corvette Chevy ever built with more than 1,000 hp. Then it reached a top speed of 233 mph, making it the fastest production Corvette. Now, Chevy has revealed the acceleration specs, and once again, the C8 ZR1 claims another Corvette title as the quickest.

Make Sure You Get The ZTK Package
Chevy gave numbers for the ZR1 in two different forms: stock, and with the ZTK Performance Package. The ZTK package adds both the Carbon Fiber Aero Package as well as a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires. The combination of these two gives the ZTK version of the ZR1 a slight acceleration edge over the base version. Getting from 0-60 mph takes just 2.3 seconds for the ZR1 ZTK. That’s 0.2 seconds faster than the standard ZR1, as well as the Corvette E-Ray.

The ZR1 ZTK is also quicker through the quarter-mile than the regular ZR1. It trips the lights in 9.6 seconds at 150 mph. It’s a difference of 0.1 seconds compared to the standard ZR1. Going past the quarter-mile, though, the standard ZR1 is likely to pull ahead, as it has a faster trap speed of 152 mph. This is undoubtedly due to the carbon fiber aero parts. They produce 1,200 pounds of downforce at top speed, creating additional drag and impeding the ZR1’s top speed.
Either way, it’s hard to argue against opting for the ZTK package, since the add-ons will make you faster over short distances and on track. It seems you’d only skip it if you’re racing for top speeds, don’t care for the spoilers and wing, or don’t want the stiffer springs the package adds.
Chevy also noted that all of its tests were done on 93-octane pump gas and on non-prepped drag surfaces.

There Are Two Big Numbers Left To Learn
With the addition of these acceleration numbers, we’ve learned most of the ZR1’s secrets. But there are still two large ones looming over it. One of them is also performance-related: its Nurburgring time. We’ve seen prototypes of it at the famed German racetrack, and it would be crazy not to set a time while testing. It also has its cross-town rival Ford to beat, which just set a sub-7-minute lap time.

The other big number is the price tag. It will most certainly be the most expensive Corvette available, surpassing the Z06. The Z06 is already pricey at $116,795 to start, including destination charge. The convertible version tops $120,000. We just have to see how much more expensive the ZR1 will be. However much it is, ZR1 buyers can at least be certain they will have the most Corvette ever, so far.
