A Greyhound bus hit three industrial automobiles parked on an Interstate 70 exit ramp in a single day Wednesday, killing three of the individuals on board and severely injuring at the least 14, state police mentioned.
It occurred at about 1:55 a.m. on the exit ramp to the Silver Lake westbound relaxation space in Madison County, state police added.
4 of the injured have been flown to hospitals by helicopter and at the least ten have been taken by ambulance. Nobody within the industrial automobiles was harm, police mentioned.
Greyhound advised CBS Information the bus was heading from Indianapolis to St. Louis and that the motive force was among the many individuals hospitalized.
“Our major concern is making certain we look after our passengers and driver right now. We’re working intently with native authorities and a reduction bus is on the best way for passengers,” Greyhound spokesperson Lourdes Brown mentioned.
