Jeep reached out with the following update
“The starting MSRP for Compass Sport is $25,900 (excluding destination). All three other trims came down in price (including Limited and Trailhawk), and now Latitude is also available under $30K with more standard content.” The pricing in the article has been updated to reflect this.

Four Trims To Choose From – Which One Should You Pick?
The Sport trim receives decent specification levels, with standard 17-inch wheels, privacy glass, and keyless entry. Inside, you’ll find the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. The 8.4-inch touchscreen has Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Safety features include active lane assist, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and several other driver assists. The $28,170 Latitude trim gains remote start, a heated steering wheel and front seats, and automatic headlights, among other features.

Those seeking more luxury will have to spend considerably more, with the Limited and Trailhawk trims priced at $32,245 and $32,395, respectively. The Limited receives synthetic leather upholstery for the seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an available gloss black roof. A heated steering wheel and seats are also standard for this grade. Optionally, customers can specify Active Driving Assist, the Altitude Package, a 360-degree camera, and more.
One Engine, But At Least It’s Got Some Power
The Trailhawk is the most rugged-looking Compass in the lineup. It gets a 20:1 crawl ratio and a one-inch lift that makes it more capable off-road. Visually, it stands out from the crowd with black-painted 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, skid plates, and more. As a reminder, all variants are powered by the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are standard.

Stellantis plans to build these news hybrids in Italian factories.
While very few changes were made for the 2025 model year, the Compass received a more substantial update in MY2024, so we expect to see more revisions for 2026 – or perhaps an entirely new model. All pricing mentioned above excludes Jeep’s $1,595 destination charge. Jeep notes that the 2025 Compass will reach dealerships in the fall. It remains to be seen whether the Compass can make a dent in the hugely competitive compact crossover segment, which is dominated by Japanese and Korean brands.
