It’s holiday moving streaming season, and Roku has an entire collection of free offerings to make your season bright (and warm, and funny, and delicious).
There’s nothing like curling up under a toasty blanket with a warm cup of hot chocolate and losing yourself for 90 minutes or so in a movie that’s both predictable and perfectly entertaining for a holiday. Yeah, I mean holiday movies. And shows. And even the odd reality TV offering.
Roku gets it, so for your holiday enjoyment, the company put together the Season’s Streaming Collection. It’s a collection of movies and shows designed to help you get into the holiday, and some of the offerings are a must-see.
I personally love the Holiday Baking Championship and Holiday Wars. But if reality TV isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other options. Holiday Favorites by Lifetime is completely free, and it’s all holiday movies all the time. You’ll see all the new holiday movies from Lifetime (12 new ones every Saturday and Sunday through December 25) and plenty from their existing catalog, too. There are even plenty of Hallmark movies available if that’s your vibe.
If you’re more of a classic Christmas person, you’ll want to catch titles like It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, or A Christmas Carol. For the kids, there are even great options like Elliot the Littlest Reindeer, Coraline, or Jack Frost.
And don’t forget the Roku Originals. There is The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Edition, Jingle Bell Love, and The Holiday Shift.
These titles only (barely) scratch the surface of what Roku will have available for streaming this holiday season. All you have to do to find them is open the Roku Channel and search for Holiday, then get exploring. You’ll find so many things to watch.
So, go on, grab your blanket and your warm drink of choice and let’s snuggle into some free entertainment.
