These new earbuds extend the QuietComfort line of Bose active noise canceling headphones and earbuds.
Bose is known for high-quality audio, so it’s no surprise that they’ve added another set of earbuds to their QuietComfort lineup.
On Wednesday, Bose sent a press release to Lifewire announcing the new QuietComfort Earbuds. The QuietComfort line of products is known for its active noise cancellation (ANC) features, and these new earbuds are no exception. Each earbud has three microphones to provide isolation when you want it and improve voice pickup when you need it.
The QC Earbuds also have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, customized tap commands, voice controls, and a 30ft range enabled by advanced Bluetooth 5.3. Of course, you can expect high-quality sound from these buds, too, and you can customize it using the EQ settings in the Bose QC Earbuds app. The app also has ANC controls so you can switch between noise-canceling and passive listening, and there’s a Low-Latency Audio mode for when you want to wear your QC Buds while gaming or watching movies.
For battery life, Bose says you can expect 8.5 hours of playtime on a charge. The wireless charging case holds 2.5 charges, which could extend your playtime to over 20 hours, and the case recharges in about 1.5 hours. Bose also says a 20-minute charge will provide an additional 3 hours of battery life.
These earbuds also offer multipoint connection capabilities that remember and let you switch between multiple devices (up to 7 devices can be remembered).
The QuietComfort Earbuds are available to order now on the Bose website. They cost $179 and come in Black, Chilled Lilac, and White Smoke.
