The first Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has been delivered to its excited owner – in keeping with the Italian marque’s promise last month. With only 33 units to be made, the super rare, custom-built 33 Stradale surely made the holidays of its owner way better – a one-percenter that’s a member of Alfa’s exclusive Club 33. To ensure confidentiality, Alfa Romeo didn’t disclose the identity of its owner nor its exact configuration.
However, images released by the brand tell us that the Rosso Villa d’Este 33 Stradale is number 5 out of the 33 units built, headed to a wealthy European customer based on the license plate. And, the four-pronged exhaust pipes at the back also tell us that it comes with the Ferrari-derived 620-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 instead of the rarer EV powertrain.
Historic Day For A Historic Delivery
No two 33 Stradales will be alike as the owners were given the liberty to customize the car’s air intakes, the wheels, and even the front shield to their liking. Customers can choose from various colors and finishes for the 33 Stradale, including the US-bound example wearing a red and white livery, which harkens to a legendary Alfa race car. According to Alfa, the owner of the first 33 Stradale realized his dream sports car right from its official announcement at the Monza Grand Prix in September 2022.

Listen To The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Sing For The First Time
A year after its triumphant reveal, the 33 Stradale finally roars to life for the first time.
Alfa Romeo delivered the first customer 33 Stradale on December 17 – a historic day for the marque. On the same day 58 years ago, the legendary Carlo Chiti officially tapped Franco Scaglione – the designer of some of the best Alfa Romeo sports cars – to work on the bodywork for what would become the first-generation 33 Stradale – one of the best-looking cars of all time.
Not The Last Low-Volume Alfa
The 33 Stradale was made at the new Alfa Romeo Bottega, where the brand’s designers, engineers and historians first met the Club 33 members. The owners made a joint decision for the 33 Stradale’s general ideal configuration – a process seen in the workshops of renowned Italian coachbuilders in the 20th century, such as Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera – maker of beautiful and historic Italian masterpieces and the maker of the new-generation 33 Stradale.
