BMW’s highly successful M4 GT3 customer race car has been updated for the 2025 motorsports season, with the new Evo version already achieving its first victory this past weekend in the 24 Hours of Dubai.
The number 777 M4 GT3 Evo, fielded by AlManar Racing by Team WRT, secured the overall win in the 24-hour race, thanks to the efforts of BMW factory drivers Max Hesse and Dan Harper, along with Al Faisal Al Zubair, Darren Leung, and Ben Tuck.
The no. 991 M4 GT3 Evo, entered by Paradine Competition, also claimed the GT3 AM class win, finishing fifth overall.
The current M4 GT3 made its debut in the 2022 motorsports season and has since amassed more than 70 victories. Over this time, BMW has gathered extensive feedback from customer teams to further enhance the car. The updates for the Evo version focus not on raw performance but on improving drivability, efficiency, and reliability, the automaker said.

Notable updates include smaller side mirrors, larger air outlets on the front wheel arches, a more aerodynamically efficient rear wing, new anti-roll bars, larger rear brakes, and a rear differential that BMW reports is easier to adjust.
Under the hood remains the proven twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine from the outgoing model. This engine, shared with the latest M3 and M4, plus the X3 M, and X4 M performance crossovers, delivers up to 590 hp in the M4 GT3 Evo. Power is sent to the wheels via an X-Trac 6-speed sequential transmission.
Pricing for the M4 GT3 Evo starts at €578,000 (approximately $593,000).
