Arctic Trucks can just about convert any vehicle. From the Volkswagen Amarok with a cappucino machine to the Ford F-150 wearing 44-inch boots for icy adventures, the outfitting company will find ways to make incredible machines that take off-road excursions seriously. Heck, it even made an Ariya that went from pole-to-pole in 2023. Arctic Trucks now focuses attention on an American SUV, the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Using its AT35 conversion, not dissimilar to the Ranger Raptor-fighting Toyota Hilux AT35, the Grand Cherokee has been aptly modified to have superior off-road capabilities for its geographical location: Russia. It’s been given a major lift and widebody treatment, along with other enhancements that can handle anything the freezing climate demands.
Lift Kit To Complement Jeep’s Off-Road Chops
Arctic Truck’s Grand Cherokee conversion is based on the SUV’s previous generation. It gets a set of 20-inch forged wheels wrapped in 35-inch AT or MT tires, which, in combination with the front air struts and rear shock absorbers and air springs, adds up to 2.6 inches of additional gap from the ground. This modification also improves the SUV’s approach and departure angles by 5 and 13 degrees, respectively.

Apart from the lift, the Grand Cherokee AT35 also gets a wider track – 5.5 inches front and rear – which enhances the SUV’s stability on and off the road. The widening warranted body modifications, too, particularly with the front bumper and wheel arch extensions. Of course, these changes the Grand Cherokee’s body geometry, which Arctic Trucks professionally tunes with over two decades of experience at its back.
The Set Of Modifications Isn’t Cheap
Arctic Trucks completes the AT35 conversion package with speedometer calibration, anti-corrosion protection, and corporate branding found on mudguards, mudflaps, and a bevy of decals. The company doesn’t appear to modify the power plant under the hood, with the sole example in stock right now on its website, a 2017 model, still powered by a Pentastar V6 engine with stock power output.

Unfortunately, this AT35 kit for the Grand Cherokee is only being offered in Russia for now. The conversion package, which includes the latest 2025 Grand Cherokee, starts at 1,575,000 Russian rubles, or around $15,500 at the current exchange rates. That doesn’t include the donor vehicle itself, as well as other expenses to be incurred in case you want your American Grand Cherokee to be shipped, altered, and sent back.
