A 23-year-old civilian was killed in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling of the village of Blahovishchenske.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Russian troops killed a man in Blahovishchenske. At about 10:00, Russians attacked a residential building, killing a 23-year-old local resident,” he wrote.
Prokudin expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
The RMA noted that the number of wounded had increased as a result of shelling in the region the day before. A woman who was injured by a Russian drone attack in Beryslav on the afternoon of January 28 turned to the hospital. The 66-year-old local resident was diagnosed with a blast injury, bruising and a shrapnel wound to her leg. She received medical assistance. She is being treated as an outpatient.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of January 29, Russian troops attacked Antonivka near Kherson with a drone, killing a 52-year-old man.
