Mercedes-Benz AMG has unveiled its second special-edition SL 63 in as many years, designed exclusively for the U.S. market. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 Manufaktur Golden Coast follows in the footsteps of last year’s Big Sur edition, paying homage to the beauty of the American West Coast.
Developed by Mercedes’ Manufaktur personalization division, the Golden Coast edition stands out with its striking Kalahari Gold Magno paint, adorning both the body and the accent areas of its black 21-inch forged wheels. The finish, which is not only exclusive, perfectly captures the golden hues of a sandy beach, AMG said.
The SL 63 Golden Coast also comes equipped with premium AMG packages, including the Aerodynamic Package and the Night Package. The latter adds gloss black touches to elements like the side mirror caps, side skirts, and accents on both the front and rear. The grille, exhaust tips, and the iconic Mercedes star at the rear are also finished in black.
Inside, the Kalahari Gold Magno theme continues, with gold stitching and accents embellishing the seats, door panels, and center console. A unique badge reading “MANUFAKTUR Golden Coast” further emphasizes the car’s exclusivity.

Under the hood, the SL 63 packs a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, delivering 577 hp. This powerhouse propels the car from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 196 mph. A 9-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive ensure seamless performance.
Just 100 examples will be built and the first reach select dealerships in February.
