Like most prestige automakers, Porsche controls the sale of its most special vehicles very closely. Getting ahold of high-demand products like the Nürburgring-ready 992-generation 911 GT3 RS requires more than money – only the highest-performing dealers get allocations, and their best customers get the first rights of refusal on such impressive hardware. So if you won the lottery yesterday and haven’t had the time to establish a close personal relationship with your local dealership’s finance department, you’ll need to either start with a slightly more attainable 718 Cayman GT4 RS or buy used. If you go the latter route, SpeedÄrt Motorsports in Miami, Florida, would like you to consider the 10-mile Porsche 911 GT3 RS that it’s selling for $437,000.
Spending Big On Porsche’s Legend
If a price of nearly half a million bucks seems expensive, that’s because a 2025 911 GT3 RS carries a starting price of $244,995 from Porsche, including the $1,995 destination fee and a $1,700 gas guzzler tax. Even with the $33,520 Weissach package and a bunch of other options included on the sale car, its sticker price still sits at $318,765. So why is the dealer asking nearly 120 large on top of that prodigious number? A complicated economics lesson on supply and demand would provide the answer, but so would this phrase: Because it can.

In the car’s defense, it only has 10 miles on the odometer, and images in the listing show it being delivered to the showroom still wrapped in its original shipping protection. The dealer also says the factory warranty is intact, going through January 1, 2029. Sold new at Porsche Larchmont in Larchmont, New York, it’s not clear how SpeedÄrt got its hands on the rare 911 GT3 RS, but it’s possible the dealer acquired it from the original owner as part of a trade or quid-pro-quo situation. Whatever the case, the sizable mark-up relative to the car’s MSRP doesn’t seem too out of place. Other 911 GT3 RS models are demanding slightly less cash for slightly more miles, meaning this one’s probably priced about where the market wants it.

You’ve Got To Pay To Play
A pre-owned supercar such as this one can get you into your local dealership’s good graces by bringing it in for detailing or mechanical service, thereby attracting attention to the retailer for being trustworthy enough to work on precious metals. However, some automakers – say, ones with yellow badges and horses in their logos – have been rumored to penalize customers who purchase rare vehicles from third-party retailers, temporarily or permanently banning them from first dibs on any special models in the future. Whether that move is worth the risk depends on how desperately you want a nearly new supercar.
In the case of the 911 GT3 RS, we doubt the automaker will take umbrage at a newly minted Porsche fan getting into a pre-owned car, regardless of the price it brings. The 911 GT3 RS is already a legend among auto enthusiasts, given a version with the Weissach high-performance package currently holds the Nürburgring lap record for naturally aspirated production cars. Although we doubt the future owner of this example will set any lap records of their own, we’re envious they’ll have the opportunity if desired.
