Alfa Romeo – actually the entire Stellantis portfolio in the US – didn’t do well in 2024, selling only 8,865 vehicles for the entire year – a 19% decline compared to its numbers in 2023. The Italian brand has already trimmed its lineup to core models for 2025MY and now, it’s starting the year by introducing a special series for the Tonale crossover, Stelvio SUV, and the Giulia sedan called the Intensa. These vehicles made their public debut at the Brussels Motor Show this week.

The new Intensa special series captures this spirit with its bold two-tone design, honoring the intensity that makes Alfa Romeo a global icon.”

A Touch Of Gold And Other Unique Elements
The Intensa special series embraces Alfa Romeo’s “intense” identity with striking two-tone designs and premium upgrades. From glossy black moldings to light-gold diamond-cut accents on the alloy wheels, the Intensa series looks different from the standard models. The black brake calipers also come with light-gold “Alfa Romeo” script, while donning the Italian flag on the side mirrors as a nod to Alfa’s sporting heritage.

Inside, the Intensa series comes with unique touches, such as black Alcantara with tan contrast stitching and embroidered Alfa Romeo logos. These are combined with modern features like large digital displays, from a 12.3-inch instrument cluster to advanced infotainment systems with navigation. All Intensa models come standard with a more-than-respectable 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with subwoofer.

After losing the peppy V6, both the Stelvio and Giulia are powered by a 280-hp/306-lb-ft turbo 2.0-liter four-pot engine, and come standard with all-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmissions.
