Volkswagen won’t have to close any of its factories in Germany after all. The automaker has reached an agreement with its IG Metall union that will keep all 10 of the automaker’s plants open in its home country. A Canadian woman was arrested after trying to smuggle over 20 pounds of methamphetamine through a New Zealand airport, authorities said. The illicit drugs were disguised as Christmas presents, New Zealand’s customs agency said earlier this week on social media.The Canadian woman, who has not been publicly identified, arrived in Auckland on a flight from Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, Dec. 8. Nissan is no stranger to fun one-off builds. Its latest, developed for this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, is a highly modified Frontier pickup designed to go drifting. The one-off truck comes complete with a custom suspension setup, a supercharged engine, and a set of lovely retro Recaro seats.
