At CES 2025, MSI showed off several new Pro-Level computers and monitors designed to keep up with the demands of the workplace.
CES is happening this week and, as expected, we’re already seeing a ton of new products. I had the pleasure of a walk-through of the MSI booth to see the new PCs and monitors the company designed for the workplace.
First up on the computer side is the MSI Pro DP80AI2. This desktop computer has an Intel Core Ultra processor and AI support that includes the Intel AI Boost NPU.
It also has Windows Copilot, which means you can generate and summarize content, use Windows Studio Effect and Live captions to improve engagement and enhance communications, and use Image Creator for AI image generation.
The sleek new Pro desktop includes a hidden optical disk drive, built-in speakers, and support for a quadruple monitor setup (assuming you have the appropriate graphics card). There are also options for Thunderbolt 4, Display Port, and HDMI monitor connections.
It includes dual 2.5G LAN ports, SD and Micro SD card readers, seven USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a Com port, plus it comes configured with up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM. Pricing starts at $699.
Next in line is the CUBI NUC AI+ 2M mini-pc. This is an interesting addition because of the smaller form factor.
The CUBI NUC AI+ 2M has an Intel Core Ultra processor, an Intel AI Boosted NPU, and 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, but the coolest part of this little machine is that you can mount it to your monitor. Once mounted, it uses MSI’s Power Link technology so you can turn it on and off using the power button on your computer monitor.
It also has 2 LAN ports and 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, as well as a built-in mic and speakers, and can support upt to a triple monitor configuration. The CUBI NUC AI+ 2M starts at $499, making it an affordable option for small and home office setups.
MSI also showed off a pair of new monitors that work well with these computers.
The MP275QPDG 27-inch (2560X1440) WQHD monitor offers a wide-angle view and adjustable stand, but what I was most impressed with was the ability to turn the monitor from landscape to portrait configuration without the need to go into settings and change the orientation. You just turn the monitor, and the picture flips as if you were using your phone. This comes in handy if you need to switch between views.
This is a docking monitor, so it has a built-in webcam, Type-C 98W power delivery & KVM switch, and you can daisy chain other monitors through it. The MP275QPDG is available for $449.99.
MSI also displayed the MD272UPSW 27-inch monitor, which can double as an entertainment display. This monitor comes with Google TV installed, has built-in speakers with Dolby Audio, and has Google Cast and Wireless Display functions so you can cast content from your phone or tablet to the monitor. It also has a remote, so you need to use computer peripherals to control the monitor if you’re using its entertainment functions.
The MD272UPSW starts at $349.99. You can order it and the other products mentioned here from the MSI website.
