Defense forces in Kharkiv region repel infantry assault, destroy enemy armored vehicles

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Khortytsia military unit reported this in Telegram.

“In the Kharkiv sector, the invading army keeps trying to conduct assault operations with the use of armored vehicles. The enemy used 2 armored personnel carriers and a tank to deliver their assault groups and build on their success. The first BMP was stalled by an accurate shot from an RPG. The pilots of the unmanned systems battalion used drones to kill the crew and troops. The second BMP, having landed enemy infantry, tried to return to the original area, but did not escape from FPV drone strikes. The remnants of the enemy troops, who managed to land and hide in the forest, were killed by artillerymen and pilots of the battalion using FPV drones. The enemy infantry assault was repelled,” the statement said.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to February 18, 2025 amounted to about 861,090 people, including another 1,170 people over the past day.
