Barcelona snapped a three-game losing streak in El Clasico, though that victory came in an August club friendly, which Barcelona took by a 2-1 final. Pau Victor scored in the 42nd and 54th minutes of the contest and Barcelona held off Real in a match that was played evenly in most game metrics.
The Barcelona side is also off to a hotter start in LaLiga play with a 9-0-1 record and league-best goal differential (+23). Real Madrid is second-best in both categories at 7-3-0 and plus-14.
