This new soundbar adjusts according to the furnishings in your room.
Your furniture and room layout can play a big role in how you hear the sound coming from a soundbar or other speakers, but Klipsch has found a fix for that.
Following the release of the Flexus Sound System in April 2024, Klipsch announced the new Flexus Core 300 soundbar with Dirac Live Room Connection Technology in a press release sent to lifewire. The soundbar, which is powered by Onkyo technology, can adjust to your listening space based on the size and furnishings of the room. It also offers Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound.
For hardware, the Core 300 has four 2.25-inch front firing, two 2.25-inch upfiring, and two 2.25-inch side-firing drivers. It also has four 4-inch built-in subwoofers and a dedicated center channel with horn-loaded tweeter technology. The result, Klipsch says, is that “The Core 300 delivers stunning clarity and rich detail from today’s demanding content. ”
In addition to the Core 300 soundbar, Klipsch also announced the Flexus Surround 200 surround speakers and the Flexus Sub 200 subwoofer. All are wireless and can be adjusted via Klipsch’s new Connect Plus app for iOS and Android. The app allows you to select inputs, EQ presets, update firmware, and more, including control streaming options such as Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and Spotify.
The Flexus Core 300’s MSRP is $999, the Surround 200 will cost you $399, and the Sub 200 will run $499. This entire system will be available to order “this Winter,” according to the press release. You can sign up on Klipsch.com to receive updates about availability.
