A handful of raging wildfires burned through Los Angeles County in early January 2025. After the Palisades fire broke out, multiple infernos erupted and destroyed countless houses — including celebrity homes — and structures. Thousands of acres were charred from the winds and flames. But through it all, firefighters worked tirelessly to salvage as many people and buildings as possible.
Many wondered if the city’s most iconic landmark The Hollywood Sign was burned from the Sunset fire in the Hollywood Hills. However, firefighters managed to prevent further destruction from this inferno.
