Maserati is celebrating 110 years since the founding of the Italian automaker in the best way it knows how: with a series of special edition models that add new paint colors and special finishes inside and out. Of course, the 110 Anniversario special series edition will only be offered in very limited numbers and only on one model, the electric GranTurismo Folgore.
Maserati was officially established on December 1, 1914, almost exactly 110 years ago. Five brothers, Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernesto, were all involved in building race cars around the turn of the century, though the luxury sports brand wouldn’t build its first road car until the 1946 A6 1500.
Special Paint And Stunning Interior Make These Cars Extra Special
Today’s GranTurismo would be unrecognizable to the brothers, not just for its styling but also for the Folgore’s electric power. The EV’s two electric motors produce 750 horsepower and 995 lb-ft of torque making it among the most powerful cars arriving in 2025.
Maserati will build two 110 Anniversario cars based on the GranTurismo Folgore. It will build, fittingly, 55 copies of each.

The first is finished in Rame Folgore, the launch color for the Folgore line. The name is Italian for Copper Lightning. In line with that name, the wheels will get black and copper finishes. Maserati’s paint is stunning, and it is matched with bronze accents inside, including special contrast stitching. The cream and blue Econyl synthetic leather choices work together to make a cabin that’s as gorgeous as the car’s exterior.
Blu Inchiostro, the other paint color, is truly amazing. The shade, Italian for Ink Blue, is brilliant, making the GranTurismo stand out in a way that Rame Folgore can’t.
Like the copper car, Blu Inchiostro has bronze wheels and trim accents, but the cabin takes a big turn. The interior is lined with deep blue Econyl denim and black. It has bronze accents inside as well, but the contrast stitching is a blue that nearly matches the paint. In the same way that the exterior of this one jumps out at you, the inside is dark and mysterious.
A New Logo And A Two-Day Party Mark The Anniversary
To commemorate this special occasion, Maserati has made a new emblem. The C-Pillar badge turns the third prong of the Maserati trident into the first 1 in 110. The logo is also finished in copper. It will be used not just on these two cars, but on the Maserati Tipo Folgore single-seat Formula E World Championship car this year. Maserati is debuting the limited-edition cars as part of a Trident Experience, a two-day event for customers to help celebrate the anniversary and immerse attendees in the company brand.
