Available in MX-5 Miata RF hard top and soft top, the 35th Anniversary Edition comes with a special color that’s a premium option for the Mazda CX-90. We’re talking about the Artisan Red Premium Metallic, a darker and deeper shade compared to Mazda’s popular Soul Red color and a $595 option for the family crossover. It’s the fourth unique paint color created by Mazda using its special Takuminuri technique.

Beyond The Gorgeous Paint
The Artisan Red Premium Metallic color looks fantastic, overflowing on the inside door panels and the accents on the round air-conditioning vents. Even the key fob gets new paint. Meanwhile, the roof of the soft-top MX-5 Miata comes in a tan color to match the red hue. All 35th Anniversary Edition models come with a plate on the right side with the car’s serial number on it.

Inside, the interior is a shower of tan elements – the seats, the carpet, the center console, and even the door cards. There are 35th Anniversary logos found on the head rests and the floor mats, too, reminding the owners that they are driving a special, commemorative model. Other commemorative items during the event include a mini version of both soft-top and hard-top 35th Anniversary models.
Special But Not Limited
The MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary is special, but Mazda isn’t making it limited, which means those who want to own one will get a chance. The pricing of the commemorative model hasn’t been announced, as well as its availability in overseas markets, particularly in the US. As it’s currently losing popularity against rivals in the affordable sports car segment, this special version should help boost its presence in the market.
