Marketers and other creatives are about to gain access to even more music and stock footage to use in their creations.
Finding the right digital music and video footage to use in advertisements, social media content, and presentations can be a pain, but Artlist and Canva are joining forces to make it a little easier.
In a press release, Artlist announced on Monday that it’s partnering with Canva to provide digital marketers and content creators access to its library of royalty-free digital assets that include both music and ‘cinematic’ video footage. However, while Artlist claims to have “an extensive catalog of over 2.5 million” digital assets, Canva users will have “access to a curated collection of Artist’s premium royalty-free songs and cinematic footage.” It’s unclear if that means the whole library will be available or only portions of it.
“Most business leaders are now investing in visual platforms and prioritizing design literacy for all of their employees. The need to create content is no longer limited to designers and creatives, but is something all teams need to navigate in order to communicate ideas effectively, stand out and achieve their goals,” Tanya Raheja, Head of Content, Canva said in an Atlist blog post about the announcement. “Pairing high-quality visual ingredients with accessible design tools like Canva makes it possible for teams to achieve the best possible outcome.”
The new digital assets will be integrated into Canva’s existing offerings, making it easier for content creators and other professionals to find the assets they’re looking for without having to learn a new system or user interface. The press release also mentions there will be “no extra subscription fee required” to access the assets.
