MANILA, Philippines — Jorelle Singh banks on her familiarity with coach Roger Gorayeb as she ushers in a brand new period of the Capital1 Photo voltaic Spikers in her Premier Volleyball League (PVL) comeback.
After lacking the previous two seasons, Singh discovered her means again into the professionals after Gorayeb, who has been her long-time coach from Nationwide College to the volleyball golf equipment, gave her a possibility at Capital1.
“Nakita niya po kasi ako na naglalaro ako ulit sa MPVA, kumbaga nakita niya po na pwede pa po ulit akong maglaro so tinawagan niya po ako na mag-tryout po ako sa Capital 1 nga po,” Singh instructed reporters within the PVL Media Day on Sunday.

Though the final time she performed within the execs for PLDT was when Gorayeb was nonetheless the coach within the 2021 PVL bubble, Singh mentioned she didn’t have many changes due to her familiarity with the longtime volleyball tactician, who steered BaliPure to a title in 2017.

“Ang maaasahan niyo sakin is management ko po sa group, iga-guide ko po lalo na yung mga bata saka ibibigay ko yung greatest ko. Kapag pinasok ako, gagawin ko lang kung ano yung greatest ko,” she mentioned.
Singh admitted that the group has but to unlock its full potential because of the quick preparation however her teammates led by Heather Guino-o, Des Clemente, Ja Lana, Rovee Instrella, Arianne Layug, and Jel Quizon are simple to get together with.
“Masasabi ko nasa 60 % pa lang po na prepared kami pero gagawin naman po namin yung greatest namin para makapag-perform nang maayos,” Singh mentioned. “Mababait naman po kasi lahat. Kumbaga madali lang pakisamahan lahat kaya walang naging problema.”
