In Zaporizhzhia, rescuers found and unblocked the body of a 27-year-old man who died as a result of Russia’s missile strike on January 18. The search and rescue operation at the site of the enemy attack is over.
This was announced by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
“As a result of the attack on January 18, two people were killed and 12 others were injured,” the service said.
It is noted that 178 rescuers and 40 units of equipment were involved in the search and rescue operation for nine days. In particular, a canine unit of the Interregional Center for Rapid Response of the SES took part in the operation.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of January 18, Russian troops hit Zaporizhzhia with two missiles, destroying the administrative building of an industrial facility. Houses and a cathedral were also damaged.
One person was reported killed. One 27-year-old man was reported missing.
