A Russian attack drone hit a two-story residential building in one of the villages of Sumy district and damaged it.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Sumy District State Administration, Mykhailo Melnyk, reported this on Facebook.
“Around 00:00 in the village of Sad, a two-story apartment building was damaged as a result of the arrival of a Shahed UAV,” he wrote.
According to the official, no one was killed, information about the wounded is being clarified (no appeals have been received).
In the morning, the Sadivka village council will deploy a headquarters to eliminate the consequences of the strike, Melnyk added.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned that Russian troops were launching attack drones from the northern and southern directions. Air alerts have been declared in a number of regions, including Sumy.
