Eighty staff and students of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) attended a talk on ‘Innovation in the Big Data Era, organised by Dell Technologies’ at its lecture theatre yesterday.

Keynote speakers from Dell Technologies shared the latest advancements in big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning and how they are being used to drive innovation and improve business processes.

Dell Technologies’ Data Analytics Workload Specialist Vasanth Pandiaraj delivered a talk on the value of data while Chief Technology Officer in Asia Pacific and Japan Field, Robert Stevanoski focussed on optimising workload with Dell’s mid-range storage solutions and data protection.

The talk was an opportunity for students to learn the latest trends and technologies and network with industry professionals to gain an understanding of cutting-edge technologies and their impact on the future of business and society.
