According to Car and Driver, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ electric SUV will have a long-wheelbase version called the Escalade IQL, which has been confirmed by a Cadillac spokesperson to Motor Authority. The Escalade IQL will be available after the standard Escalade IQ, which is set to begin deliveries this summer.

The Escalade IQL is expected to follow the design of the current long-wheelbase Escalade ESV model, retaining the styling of the standard-wheelbase model and adding extra space to the rear two rows of seats.
The standard Escalade IQ is already 224.3 inches long, 76.1 inches tall, and 94.1 inches wide, with a 136.2-inch wheelbase, making it about two inches longer than the internal-combustion Escalade ESV in terms of wheelbase. However, the electric model is about three inches shorter overall.

The Escalade IQ, introduced last summer, offers up to 750 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain. This allows the IQ to accelerate to 60 mph in about five seconds. With a shared Ultium 24-module, 200-plus-kwh battery pack from the GMC Hummer EV Pickup, Cadillac expects the IQ to have a range of 450 miles. The Escalade IQ also features Cadillac Arrival, a version of the Hummer EV’s Crab Walk.
Aside from the Escalade IQ and IQL, Cadillac also has plans for the smaller Optiq and Vistiq SUVs, as well as the Celestiq flagship. However, the launch of these models may be impacted by ongoing challenges with General Motors’ Ultium EV production, as the automaker struggled to accelerate EV production in 2023 as initially planned.
