Alexa can notify you when something you’re interested in is on sale and will even let you complete the order without ever having to open your browser or the shopping app.
The best deals on Amazon can sell out quickly, especially the Lightning deals, which are often very popular this time of year. With all the cooking, napping, and shopping in physical stores, it’s hard to stay on top of them, which means you could miss out on some great savings.
Amazon has a solution for that, though. Your Amazon Alexa can help you keep track of the deals you’re interested in without having to spend time wading through all that stuff that you don’t care about. All you have to do is enable Advanced Amazon deal alerts on your Alexa device and then put the items you want on a Wish List.
Of course, we have great lists that include some of the products with the best discounts, including a list of the early deals and even a list of all the great Apple savings you can find at Amazon. But those Lightning deals are where you’ll find the best savings, and it’s helpful when Alexa can just let you know when items you’re looking for are on sale, especially since the voice assistant can give you a heads up, up to 24 hours before the items actually go on sale.
It’s easy to use advanced deal alerts, too. In the Alexa app, go to More > Settings > Notifications > Amazon Shopping and scroll down to Shopping Recommendations. Make sure that Deal Recommendations is toggled on. Add the items you’re interested in to one of your Amazon Wish Lists. It can be any wish list you have, including the ones that you’ve created and made private, and then you’ll start receiving notifications on upcoming deals. We suggest you do this soon, though, because the best deals are already starting to disappear.
