You Could Take The Default Red Or You Could Be Interesting
If you’re boring, Ferrari has a handful of pre-made configurations available. The default is Rosso Corsa outside and Rosso FX inside. Lame.
There are more factory-selected options including Alluminium Lucido over Giallo Modena, Bianco Italia over Rosso FX, and Blue Elettrico over Charcoal. That one comes with a cool gray and yellow stripe. Giallo Triplo Strato, Ferrari for yellow, is offered, a different Rosso red that matches the color offered on prior Ferrari supercars is available, and there are a total of eight pre-configurations aside from the default.
But don’t let the factory pick your F80 for you. There are 35 different colors to pick from, including one matte green option. Some are flashy modern shades, others are vintage-inspired classic choices like the Blu Tour de France 70 Anni from the 812 Superfast in 2017, or Ferrari’s Grigio Titanio Metall silver finish. It’s not a full rainbow, but there are tons of choices to be had.

Fight me: The new Ferrari F80 is ugly.
I’m ready to pick a fight; the new Ferrari F80 is ugly. Technologically advanced? Sure. Fast? I don’t doubt it. But to me, the Ferrari halo car always had a sense of beauty about it. Even the F40 – which adhered to a form-follows-function playbook – used its simple lines to create a beautiful form. But the F80 has no beauty. It’s pure function over form, and I think that’s wrong. Ferrari has always had a romantic element to its cars. And with the V6 engine, it’s not even like it has the USP of a spine-tingling exhaust note. As a successor to LaFerrari, I find this visually disappointing. LaFerrari, while not my first choice of the original hypercar Holy Trinity, grew on me. In person, the lines of its body were downright sensuous. But the F80 looks like it was styled from Lego blocks. And the final nail in the coffin for me is the gloss black bar to hide the headlights; headlights are the eyes of a car, and in hiding them away, it takes away the ‘face’ of the F80, turning it into a pur

Then you can pick door numbers. You can get no numbers, numbers on the doors, or numbers on the sides and the front hood. Numerous center stripe options start with red, yellow, or black thin stripes paired with an expansive selection of thicker middle stripes, or you can pick a single thick stripe in one of 17 shades.
The car’s wheels are offered in black or silver. You can get carbon fiber center sections and carbon, black, or yellow center caps. There are nine different caliper color choices as well.
There are just five colors for the Alcantara covering on the seat. That’s the driver’s seat, as the passenger is sitting on the upholstered shell of the car. You can pick your seat belt color, seat accent color, and the color of the prancing horse on the headrest. Or add a screen for the passenger if you want one. There’s also the strangely-named “passenger odment net” and full anti-stone chipping for the paintwork.
