- Ringbrothers debuted a new Plymouth Barracuda restomod for SEMA 2024 called ‘Infected.’
- It has a custom Pink Eye paint job with black accents and a white leather interior.
- Under the hood is a Mopar Hellcrate Redeye Hemi engine that makes 807 horsepower.
Muscle car EV swaps are all the rage these days. In fact, Mopar built a battery-powered Plymouth GTX for SEMA this year. But Ringbrothers isn’t going the electrified route. Quite the opposite, in fact. The Wisconsin-based tuning shop has given this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda restomod a proper muscle car makeover.
They call it the “Infected” ‘Cuda—an excellent name for a car packing this much heat. Under the hood is a supercharged Mopar Hellcrate Redeye Hemi engine making 807 horsepower and 717 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission that sends power straight to the rear wheels.

A custom Pink Eye paint job covers the exterior. It’s offset by a black hood and black accents, ranging from custom lower rocker panels to a new diffuser. The grille and bumper guards were both milled from a single piece of billet aluminum, while the lower intake was widened to improve airflow.
Underneath that beautiful body is a custom chassis that stretches the car by 1.5 inches. The shop had to extend the front wheels to accommodate for the added size, but also shortened the front fenders and tucked the bumpers to keep the classic muscle car proportions intact. The suspension has Fox RS SV coilovers at the front and rear for an improved ride.
The staggered, five-spoke 20- and 21-inch wheels are wrapped in the stickiest Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires you can find. They hide six-piston Brembo stoppers with 14-inch calipers at all four wheels.

The cabin gets modern upgrades like full white leather, new gauges, climate control, and even a modern sound system with Apple CarPlay connectivity. To keep that classic Mopar style, the interior also gets a Pistol Grip shifter and a performance steering wheel with carbon fiber accents.
The 5,600 hours it took Ringbrothers to complete this project was time well spent, we’d say. The beautiful Barracuda will be on display at the SEMA Show in Vegas this week.
